Dina says her real passion lies in philanthropy. She is the proud founder of Project Ladybug, a foundation for children with cancer. Her goal is to raise awareness and raise funds to create Ladybug funds in hospitals across the country that can be used to bring a positive impact to these children.

Starting Tomorrow! Shop Annie Sez and Help Support Breast Cancer Survivors May 3, 2011

Annie sez is hosting a five-day “shop-a-thon,” May  4-8, to benefit the  Young Survival  Coalition (YSC), a NYC based breast cancer charity.

The shopping event will take place simultaneously in all 42 Annie sez stores.

Young Survival Coalition   is based in New York with nearly 30 affiliates across the country. YSC is the premier global organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer.  YSC offers resources, connections, and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful.  Through action,  advocacy and awareness, YSC seeks to educate and influence the medical,  research, breast cancer, and legislative communities to address breast cancer in  young women, and to ensure that no young women diagnosed with breast cancer faces the disease alone.

How it works? From May 4-8, shoppers who donate $5 at the register of ANY Annie sez store, instantly get 20% off their entire purchase.

The $5 will go directly to Young Survival Coalition.  Annie sez is hoping to donate over $25,000 to the cause.
